What are wage and hour cases?

We live in a word in which wage inequality is increasing. I don’t think anybody really can deny that. People often ask me what are wage and hour cases. And essentially a wage case means that you’re not making the minimum wage, an hour case means you’re working overtime and not getting paid the proper wage for overtime. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act the proper wage for overtime would be time and a half for anything above 40 hours a week, assuming you qualify and are not exempt. So if you think that you’re affected either in the wage area or you’re working overtime and not getting paid overtime wages, give me a call and we’ll discuss it.
